A lot of possibilities with Tribal Aliens. Depending on how primitive you think a tribal culture is, there are many aliens such as the kitonak, felucian, yuzzum, nelvaan, amani, wookie, aleena, ewok, trandoshan, fuzzum, gungan, weequay...

I voted Junkers/scavengers. Could be a fun link to Jakku/TFA as well.

It would be fun to overlap this challenge with the TFA release, so I went with that - plus all the other options could fall under TFA as well, considering all the locations that will likely be in the movie.

I voted Junkers/Salvagers as well, because I think I have parts for a figure like that. Though TFA would absolutely be my second choice!

I agree with Starchaser. I'd rather see the movie and have more reference source photos available before doing any TFA customs.

Totally stoked for this challenge. I too have things already in the works.

This was a quick custom, but something I wanted to do anyways and it fits the theme (from what we can tell so far). I added some weathering to my 6'' Rey figure. In all the reference photos I've seen, her garments are quite soiled. I gave her outer garments a light black wash, then added some heavier sand-colored paint using a weathering kit in various places. I'm much happier as the figure looks much less "toyish" now and more like a character who has seen tough times.
