Yavin Hangar Part #1 Made a quick and simple Yavin Hangar diorama. The first part (angle) is the scene of Luke's reunion with Biggs.

Yavin hangar... that's one that I really need to work on, I can't believe after all these years I never built one. My Yavin stuff is just sitting on a shelf...

Thanks Yak_Chewie. This is a temporary diorama. I hope to one day be able to expand it and flesh it out more. Right now, there was just room for one X-Wing. I hope to be able to get the other X-Wings, a couple of Y-Wings, accessories and probably two dozen figures.

Okay, took a while but here is my contribution to this Yakfinities. A Tatooine town receiving some First Order guests:

The buildings were made from crafting board, cut/glued together. Then I spread wood glue all over them to make some plaster-esque textures using a basic spackling tool like you'd use for drywall.

After it dried, I did various degrees of painting/weathering. I topped it off with some diorama accessories from http://www.holeinthegroundpro.com and some steel looking grates off of eBay.

Turns out I really learned some new techniques with the buildings through trial and error (which I always feel is the best way to learn this stuff) - which will I'm hoping will get me to a point where I can make a much better cantina playset someday.

Really awesome job on the Tatooine town. I like how the Gotal looks like he had the crap scared out of him.

Really dig the droid too. Do you have a recipe for it?

hello guys, this is my entry for this challenge. it is heavily inspired by empire toy works play sets. here are some pictures.

it is a mechanic shop, it still lacks of a sign and some power tools, a power generator, and some other ideas that couldnt finish on time, but i could achieve the main idea. My brother in law helped me with the light set. Im a surgeon, dont know a thing about electric circuits and such things. but i know a little about carpentry tough. Ill ad more pictures on my custom thread, it was really fun puting together this playset. :D

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME submissions!!!!!!!!!

I ended up having time to make another diorama, which I used for my photonovel. It's an Imperial Detention Block. I modified some of NiebNiub's files, and then created blast doors to go behind the existing POTF2 door frames. You can also see one of Raylen's awesome Imperial computer consoles too! I'll have to take a picture of the overall set up as well, since these are frames from the last chapter.

My goal is still to finish one more diorama for this competition, and I actually have another waiting to be posted. I want to wait until it's seen in the PN before I post it otherwise. :p
