I was aiming for the First Order Heavy Assault Walker we got a quick glimpse of on StarKiller Base, but think it looks more like the evolutionary step between an AT-TE and an AT-AT.

Wow - that is REALLY cool. I have for a while been curious about such a concept.

Any issues getting the legs on?

Oh, and that's definitely the biggest "min-rig" I've ever seen. LOL

Thanks guys!

I screwed the legs on, no change to the AT-AT legs (used the same screw holes) but it added a small hole on each of the AT-TE joints.

My 5 year old wanted to play with it but quickly gave up because it is harder to keep standing then even the old AT-AT from 1980!

I think you all are starting to see that I like to go big! My painting professor in college always said, "If you can't paint good, paint big and if you can't paint big, paint red". Kinda reminds of the Empire!

Hello!
This is my first Yakfinities entry - I've been reading these for a few years now and this contest inspired me to finally move on a project I've been thinking about for a while now. It's a Desert Thug Battle Speeder. I chopped up an Episode I Flash Speeder and added the engines and a few other parts from a Jedi Starfighter. I'm curious to see what you guys think!
Anyway, thanks for all the inspiration over the years - I'm looking forward to the next Yakfinities!

Very cool looking speeder. Like the details and paint scheme.
Welcome aboard

The speeder is excellent, Jerrysfinger! Great use of parts, great paint scheme and apps, and overall great execution! This vehicle would fit into any of the SW movies!

Really cool entry! You realize you can enter more than one submission! (It won't increase your chances of winning though.)

There are so many fine submissions so far.

The orange Stap is a Bakugan piece with foamboard base. The handles were from a BAW. The clear base is a Reaction Bubble cut to size.

The glider is a Johnny Quest glider and some kind of wing harness attachment. The pad for lying down is model magic.

One of several concept art pieces for the TIE Fighters that the First Order deployed in what became The Force Awakens featured the familiar central ball but with additional weaponry, triangular forward facing wings and tubular engines deployed in the connecting struts.

Reference, recipe and turnaround animation can be found in my customs thread.

much like all of TFA, i would have rather seen that "concept" than what was actually on screen.

good idea tho and i love the execution. may have to search out that concept art and try this with some kitbashes

Utinniii, you have done a fantastic job on this tank / bovine transport! The vehicle is loaded with details, and it is clear that a lot of time went into it. And love. And a bovine.

Taint a bovine, thats a NERF!!

The Troopers don't understand why the Emperor mandated adding Nerf to all their vehicles, but they know better than to question orders!

Here is Jai's refurbished ARC-170 from Era of Darkness. I assume he got it from a junkyard and has been working on it for a while...
