Not enough time here, either. I have several projects from last 2 Yakfinities that never were finished. Done a few Ewoks, but that was all partially started from "Tribal Aliens" a while back. Maybe I should get to work on my original cyclopian monocroned aviating palatinate bioform devourer or another of my original ideas.

It's on, buddy! Nothing like a good challenge to get some s*** done!

You had the perfect name for the beastie I've been working on!

What is unexplained is that all of you have already envisioned a Cyclopian Monocroned Aviating Palatinate Bioform Devourer, and when you see or think of him, you will likely suffer an aneurrhythm.

Here is the first of two entries (I hope):

Along the border of the Unknown Region, across many planets, parents of a variety of species use a similar little ditty to encourage the children to behave. It goes something like this:

It has no eyes, but clearly sees;
it has no lips but always smiles;
It craves the flesh of those who live,
and feasts by force or guile.

Take care young ones, do as your told
lest 'tween the dusk and dawn
the vampire Yarhib steals you away
and your life is gone.

The rhyme comes from a faint memory of extremely unusual sightings of the 'Ibh. The 'Ibh are solitary and nocturnal. They must eat blood in order to survive (like vampire bats). They are not particularly prone to violence, but will defend themselves fiercely if threatened. They do not see, but create "visual" images of the world around them through echo-location and thermal imaging. They cannot speak Basic because of the structure of their mouths and throats, but have a sophisticated language of their own. Because their home-world is deep in the Unknown Region, encounters are rare (and viewed as fictions by the citizens closer to the Core worlds). These factors have led to there being tremendous misunderstanding of the 'Ibh. This particular 'Ibh goes by the name Koradera Borotorok (core-ah-dare-ah bore-ah-tore-auk) - or an approximation thereof, and travels the galaxy in star-faring shuttle cataloging minerals, crystal formations and geological wonders.

Recipe:
body = Mawhonic
head = a custom from jokebofe/starwarsgeek
arms/legs = POTF Momaw Nadon.

mousedroidhoojib - I know this last figure is based on concept drawing, but your execution makes for one creepy figure - excellently done. I also really liked how your Sugi custom turned out, kudos!

Cyclopian Monocroned Aviating Palatinate Bioform Devourer

This specimen isn't fully developed yet. They communicate through the horn on their head, as well as their huge mouth. Surprisingly modest, this one is wearing a tiny pair of shorts.

(we like short shorts)

I like it. You win already!

He's also pigeon toed and under grow'd!

How long did it take you to realize what it was and what gave it away?

The name foreshadowed the creature, and my idea was very similar, and that song is what I was thinking at one point. Random. Mine is now looking a lot like a dianoga, so I'm replacing the horn with the extended eyestalk and going that direction instead. I'm using a rathtar body, and the tentacles are long bendy tails of Halloween rat decos. A dianoga would be a better fit for what I do. But still time to come up with something unexplained.

Tatooine Sandsquatch - This elusive creature is the stuff of legend and most believe it does not exist. Rarely seen, this beast from another era is rumored to come out only at night. Several locals of Mos Eisley claim it is responsible for stealing dried fruits and vegetables from their vendor booths. It has not been accused of harming residents of the towns, though has been rumored to become extremely hostile and dangerous when in the presence of Tusken Raiders.
