Too frail to attend the Canto Bight Casino in person, Baroness Wayulia Tagge-Simoni projects a holographic visage of a younger woman from a synthskin covered droid.

Lt. Draven's last stand.

A mysterious distress signal lures a Star Destroyer to an outpost on the edge of the Outer Rim. The Star Destroyer's commander dispatches Lt. Draven to the surface to see what's going on. At first, he finds the outpost to be abandoned, but the base's occupants are missing. Upon further investigation, Lt. Draven discovers the outpost was the location of a secret Imperial laboratory. Something terribly went wrong: a science experiment mutated, and the outpost's occupants are now among the undead. Lt. Draven is fighting to get back to his shuttle but some of the outpost's crew stand in his way between life and death.

I'm a big fan of Death Troopers, and secretly wish Disney will think out of the box and make it. (I know they won't, but hey, I can wish.) This small diorama was made from black foamcore, Death Star wall printouts I'd had for some time, and orange LED Halloween lights. Used some cables from an old VCR and the gray Halloween shroud to give it a broken down look.

The two stormies and Imp officer are my version of the Death Troopers.

OC47151 - I was waiting for a zombie figure! (I'm not a fan of the zombie genre, but was surprised we hadn't seen one yet.) Nice job.

Chewie - I love that Sasquatch. I never found one of those Cryptzoology figures (though I looked when they were in the wild). I always thought they would work well in the Star Wars universe. Your adaption works really well!

Utinniii - I don't think I ever mentioned how clever the use of Jyn's accessory part was. That was a great piece of re-purposing.

Fun entries. I'm holding out to finish my second figure tomorrow - we'll see.

Rogzuul - Native to the planet Tartaaris, these creatures are officially extinct per Imperial records. However, a small percentage of these beings live on, in spite of their world being ravaged by war. The remnants of the species are now blind from being forced for generations to live underground following the near destruction of their planet's surface following a starship cruiser fleet slamming into the planet during a hyperspace jump. The planet became a haven for smugglers for centuries, all the while the Rogzuul evolved under the surface. The few survivors were forced to stay underground when the planet became a staging ground in the Clone Wars, and is now an Imperial penal colony. However, these creatures still lurk under the surface, ready to strike at any unsuspecting prisoner or Imperial that ventures into their territory.

Here is my entry into this Yakfinities contest.
This is a custom DECRANIATED DIANOGA/HUMANOID HYBRID named KODO SKANG.
This figure is custom painted and is poseable.
This one of a kind custom figure features a custom resin cast domed helmet and resin cast shoulder armor, plus all 10 of the green "hand" and "feet" tentacles are custom sculpted by me. I painted the hands and feet a green color similar to the vintage Kenner Dianoga toy that was included with the vintage Kenner Death Star playset.

BACKSTORY:
Another one of Dr. Evazan's bizarre creations. This creature is one of two such vile creations. Upon it's back Kodo Skang wears two tanks that function as lungs. This creature is said to somehow communicate through an electronic vocabulator device worn on it's chest but Kodo Skang is mostly overheard hauntingly asking for it's twin, Skang Kodo. A liquid filled dome replaces where it's head and neck should be and contains a constant aqueous nutrient solution to keep this strange lifeform fed and hydrated.

Chewie - Cool creature with the Rogzuul. I really like how that turned out. (I've been eyeing those Demogorgon figures for customs as well)

IABF - I really like how the decraniated character turned out! The dianoga hybrid is a great concept and your sculpting is outstanding as usual.

StooperZero - The Imps needed a few of these on the moon of Endor - might have changed things a bit :) Great idea.

I finished my second submission. I really like the character, but he totally fits the "unexplained" category for me (steam technology suit, no legs, etc.):

Empatojayos Brand:

Recipe:
Head = POTF Imperial Death Star Trooper
Upper torso = Marvel Iron Man 2 Deep Dive figure (with shoulder armor from the Marvel Iron Man 2 Arctic figure)
Lower torso = plastic Christmas ornament
Rocket pack = random classic GI Joe backpack from the fodder bin
+ black floral wire (14 gauge) for the arms; a fair amount of Kneadatite ("green stuff") and paint

OH - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Zombie's, lumberjacks and hybrids, oh my!

There were some terrific entries this round. The last few were particularly cool. Who doesn't like hovering, crypto, undead, holographic, tentacled, chainsaw beasts?

Like always, I had several in the works that I couldn't finish in time. I think next-next contest I'll suggest a category "unformed" where we can do unused, concept prototype customs, as well as finish off ones from previous contests.

Great contest everyone!

Congrats everyone else there was some real imagination put into these entries, and I'm a little sad I only just saw this contest today or else I would have dusted off my workbench and done something

Great job to everyone that participated, there were some really cool entries this go around! Unfortunately Nov. and Dec. are super busy for me and I wasn't able to work on anything this time. The Ibh, corpse droid, purple people eater (hilarious), sandsquatch, & the dianoga human hybrid were some of my favorites! Chewie I will definitely be stealing your sandsquatch recipe for sure!!! I've had a couple of those mezco squatch figures sitting around since the early 2000's and that head looks pretty awesome on a wookie body!
