Chewie: I'm really digging the look of your trooper! The Cracken upper torso works great! I also really like the looks of the trooper in the background (left side of the pic). We need another pic of the "background trooper"!

^ There's a pic, I made those guys a few years ago. It might have been for a past Yakfinities, I can't even remember.

JawaKing-Another fantastic Ewok. You should make the "beast" that she got her cape from.
Chewie Really dig the Rebel Scout Trooper. That Cracken figure is really versatile for Rebel troops. I'm thinking your other troopers were from the Rebel Militia Yakfinities.

Finally had some time to finish the second project (too late to take pictures in the snow though):

A Cold Weather Ops Mandalorian specialist:

Recipe:
Head - POTF Boba Fett
Body - Lanard "The Corps" Ogre
Additional bits - POTF Boba Fett (I cut the arm weapons, leg pouches and armor off a Boba Fett figure and added them to the base body)
Backpack - POTF Obi-Wan cold weather gear (concept)
Gun - from GI Joe fodder

Utinniii - Your snow bunny is creative as always. Interesting and out of the box.

Thanks! I wanted a Bunny Jedi since reading the Young Jedi novels. I can attach a light saber easily. I also thought it would make a funny counterpart to my last snow bunny.

Utinniii: your spider and rabbit look pretty neat! The paint job on the spider is great and I really like the look/shape of the ears on the rabbit!

Thanks. I wanted many of the lifeforms on this planet to be metallic or chromatic so they would reflect sunlight as camouflage. There are also some beautiful metallic creatures on Earth. This was an inspiration.

I was also happy to used the spider body for something (Since I used part of one to make the mask earlier), and use up the ant part I had left over.

I have a custom using the spider legs but it isn't going quite like I want it to. Hopefully I can finish it.

As soon as I saw that bunny, I knew it would make a great Kushiban. I love the ears. I was waiting for it to go on sale or clearance for over a year before I finally snagged it.

The spider is beautiful, and your arachnid creation is also cool, Utinniii!

So many great customs this theme! I love all the different winter soldiers!

I will fall short of completing the Nelvaanians and the Nelvaan White-furred Bantha that I started, but might post some progress pics after my Easter weekend travels, although the theme contest will be over.

My final entry is based on one of the early concept drawings for the wampa. Torso, arms (lengthened), and 3/4 of the legs are from a Spider-Man lizard figure and the rest is sculpted in Aves.

Fantastic looking Wampa. Spot on to the concept drawing. You have to wonder if they went with the concept, would it have been as scary?

Thanks! I may just finish a different Arachnid for this contest.

After the contest ends, I would like to see any unfinished figures from anyone as well as hear what their unfinished list was.

Love the Snowtrooper with enhanced blaster, and that Wampa concept is simply off the charts amazing. It puts my skills to shame!

I was able to squeeze out one more custom.

Partisan Trooper - Just from my imagination using some parts that worked out together.

head - Elite Forces figure
hat - Rogue One Cassian Andor
cloak - GI Joe Cobra Snow Serpent
torso - TVC Hoth Han
arms - TVC Hoth Han
tunic - TVC Hoth Han
gloves - fodder bin
legs - TAC Starkiller Hero

That's a fine looking trooper!

I'm just taking a break from my own. I may just finish most of them. Well, not the Arctic Jawa, but I didn't even start him. When I got his mount I suddenly saw a completely different outcome for that figure.

Hey Jodo, Mcshonka has a great use for some of your Baze weapons!

Across the Galaxy there are legends of horrors that will stalk you when you are alone and vulnerable. Boogy Men, Soup Eaters and the vampiric eternally smiling Yarhib.

The Gentlings, as they are called, are among such horrors. Believed to come from an icy black hell they radiate fear, hopeless, cold and darkness.

When they first appear in a settlement, little things go wrong. Things break or go missing. Tiny accidents happen. Fights and mistrust become the norm. It is unknown if they stalk in packs of dozens or hundreds as they are never seen but only felt. What is known is that they claim individual victims. They whisper in the darkness, sometimes in voices of loved ones but only words of abandonment and disdain. The “Marked Ones” sleeping quarters are marked with a slash from their 3 clawed fingers. They are glimpsed in the darkness and heard just around the corner. They cause conflicts by framing their victim for their mischief. Eventually, the victim is driven to complete isolation, knowing that their Gentling is coming for them.

One day their victim just disappears and the cloud of misery over the settlement is gone. It is unknown what their fate is, although children seem to believe that the Marked Ones are transformed into Gentlings.

Gentling was made with a fat pipe cleaner and some clay. Fake fur was added.

I had set out to make this so I could cast multiple heads, claws and feet but was disappoint with how it started. However, now that it is finished, I want a dozen of these guys.
Gentlings are a blatant rip off of the D&D Meanlock. I have wanted a figure of one since I first saw them in the Fiend Folio.
The name is given in the same spirit of calling the murderous fairies “Kindly ones” and “Gentle Folk” as well as the SW term "Youngling".

The orange Robot is a painted flashlight. I should have turned it on for the pic. The other droid is a Robby the Robot mini fig on the bottom the the Lost in Space B-9 robot.

Gentlings hail from a black volcanic moon somewhere in the Unknown Regions. There is so much soot from the volcanoes that the snow is black and can cut flesh.

I just thought it would be fun to make a diorama with black snow. The snow is Pebeo texture media (Volcanic glass I think). The cliff walls were inspired by the volcanic formations in the UK or Jeju-do island. I will take a better picture later as the cliff is at work. I actually finished it early January but didn't finish the Gentling until today.

McShonka - The repeater cannon Snowtrooper is a great concept.

EndorJunkie - The concept Wampa is outstanding - great figure!

CHEWIE - I like the design of the partisan, he works really well!

Utinniii - the "gentling" idea is great, so is black snow. I like how the figure turned out. Oh...thanks for including the Yarhib :)
