I finally finished my Purgill. They were one of the first Rebels creatures that I started. They are all different. Kinds and from different episodes.
I just need a bigger Star Destroyer.

I am also including the owl creature we see in the time gateway.

Here is my entry, I've been super busy as of late so I went with a more realistic approach on a variant of an AT-DP Pilot. This is my take on what I'm calling a custom IMPERIAL TROOP TRANSPORT GUNNER figure. I pictured him riding in the back of Imperial transport vehicles as extra security for troops or cargo as they are loaded/unloaded. He features a custom painted AT-DP Pilot resin cast head, removable armor, blaster pistol with working holster, rifle, and has lots of articulation.

One more entry from me.

Looks like a normal stormtrooper, right? It's not. SA Kanan Jarrus in stormie disguise. Had to whittle down the neck post to get the head to fit.

I had a couple of extra Kanan's around. Don't know why I bought so many; can't resist a sale I guess. Used an extra stormie body I had lying around.

I chose a character that also doesn't appear in "Rebels," but the old Wiki places him with the emerging Rebellion at the star of the Galactic Empire rule. The Wookiee Rorworr was a hero at the Battle of Naboo when he was younger. He later became a pilot and spy for the Rebels, and may have been at the base somewhere off-camera. I did the figure in realistic style. Hasbro would have probably did a molded vest, but I fabricated a fabric one. The figure was made from a modern SA Chewie with modified chest and forearms, a new head and hands, and a modified weapon.

My buddy says the character looks like the lovechild of Scooby Doo and Shaggy. My mind's eye cannot unsee this.

Old Jho is awesome!! I'm very impressed with your painting.

I managed to finish half of what I had hoped for.

First up is Kallus's spy droid.

Next, a realistic Blurrg.

I didn't have time to finish the saddle or rider, Nuna.

Fett's helmet turned out excellent!

Thanks, and nice work on Hera - I've thought about doing something similar, did you try heating the headtails to see if they can be reshaped?

Actually I thought about it, but it also would require cutting the lekku apart on the back. After looking at it closely, I just didn't want to risk it. I might, when I'm not under a time crunch:), cut the two lekku apart, sculpt in any missing material and try the heat method to reshape the one lekku - we'll see. Thanks for asking, though.

Great job everyone, good looking customs for sure. I've got to shout out for Rorworr though, I got the original Hasbro figure when they produced it with the Theed Invasion Adventure Game - great job with this figure.

Wow - what an amazing job you all did on this one. So much creativity and passion. I think Rebels would have been so much more popular had Hasbro treated the toy line better.

The Roundup Report will be done as soon as I can get to it - busy at work this week and getting prepped for family summer vacation too.

Thank you Utinniii! Truth be told, I had such a hectic last few weeks/months that I kept putting him off and I basically finished him off in the last two days. As much customization as I did on him, he certainly warranted more time for a what I think would have been a better result but I am happy with him and might continue to tweak him. I'm glad I went for the realistic look and you went for the animated look...again, I love it. I really am more partial to how yours came out. Jho, the puffer pigs and lil' Hammy Head are great sculpts. I love Yakfinities because it's great practice working with the clay sculpting! Now, off to tackle a gangster....

Great job everyone!!! There were some really great figures this round! Unfortunately, I am smack dab in the middle of a massive construction project at my facility and I didn't have the time to finish the other 2 characters I was working on with all the chaos, that and some of the parts I ordered never arrived!
