D1S-K0
D1S-K0, was a entertainment droid task with being the Master of Ceremonies at the swanky Peko Peko Club in the heart of the Coruscant Affluency. Dee-One had an eccentric personality and was a natural fit for the clubs position of emcee. Dee-One's owner, Tenten Falto, felt it proper to augment the droid's casing by installing irridecent particles, which, when activated, alters the ambiance of the club and mood of its patrons. D1S-K0 and the Peko Peko Club has hosted the likes of Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, the ethereal sounds of Cato Neimoidian Winds, the soothing voice of Aurodia Ventafoli (The Chantuese of the Stars) and Luleo Primoc, the energetic, crazed cacohpony of the underground punk band Kowakian Monkey-Lizards as well as introduced the controversial performer P-Siddy and beginnings of the star wars between Siddy and his rival Mack Window, which saw a spike in attendance to the Peko Peko Club. Dee-One's associate, P00-D00, assisted in the club's famous holographic show.

CZ-1 CZ-1 was one of two CZ units that crash landed on Tatooine. He wandered off into the desert and eventually broke down. He was captured by Jawas ending up in the interior of their sandcrawler.

CZ-3 CZ-3 was the other CZ unit that crash landed on Tatooine. After his companion CZ-1 wandered off into the desert, CZ-3 ended in the employ of Jabba the Hutt. Due to a malfunction, instead of returning to Jabba's palace CZ-3 wandered aimlessly through the streets of Mos Eisley

I'm really surprised (and a bit disappointed) that Hasbro didn't repaint CZ-4 from TAC and re-release the figure as CZ-1 and CZ-3.

Both CZ-1 and CZ-3 are repaints of CZ-4 (TAC)

Really amazing entries so far! Keep up the good work. I'm hoping to submit a couple of figures in this round also - we'll see if I can pull it off.

Yes, I'm a bit surprised by that as well. And speaking of CZ-4, I believe I have a spare of him that I was going to use to make CZ-3 (which I haven't done yet). Thanks for the reminder.

Awesome work on the CZs!

The pilot droid H2 was taken by Dass Jennir after the Jedi Master killed the droid's former owner, the cannibalistic Dezono Qua.

K-2S0 CONCEPT ART: I started painting this one with the red stripes off a concept art piece but then added my own embellishments.

K-2NO: Was Jyn just lucky when she shot this droid or did she notice his paint was more red than K-2SO's.
This was a repaint where I tried to recreate each scuff from the droid in the movie.

AV-6R8: An Imperial V series Droid Supervisor model. Repaint with the bulbs cut off, the mouth hollowed out and the antenna put in the mouth gap. This droid was seen in ROTJ on the SD.
When looking at some backstage photos of ILM, I noticed they had an industrial mixer which I'm sure was an inspiration for the head of EV-9D9 (and this droid).

mousedroidhoojib Nice job on the H2 Pilot Droid. Never read the comics, so not really familiar with the character but it looks spot on with the reference material.

Utinniii Great job on the droids. I like the concept K-2SO. I also like K-2NO and when Jyn shot him and K-2SO asked if she knew it was him or not. That was probably one of the funniest parts of the movie. Also like AV-6R8. Hasbro really needs to redo EV-9D9 and make AV-6R8 while they're at it. They probably won't be on a single card but in a multipack would work for me.

Chuckles Nice droid. I recognize some of the parts of your droid. Do you have a full parts list?

8-LOM-D.JPG8-LOM-D armed.JPG
8-LOM-D
Accompanying a group of historians and relic hunters looking for treasure from the Great Galactic Civil War, 8-LOM-D’s journey took him to the frozen wastelands of Hoth, where the crew explored the remnants from the Battle of Hoth. At night the team took shelter in the deserted Echo Base, using their generator to shutter the caverns from the frigid winds without. It did not take long for the visitors to find they were trespassing in the lair of an unsuspecting and hungry Wampa as a few of the team members came across the recent carcasses of their Naboo bloodhounds save for one, Scout, who had escaped the pen in which the pack had been held. The crew quickly dispatched the creature and checked the area for any other potential threats. Satisfied, they retired for the evening planning to resume their hunt for war relics in the morning.

In the morning, 8-LOM-D witnessed several odd events. Scout had gone missing and the historian who let the bloodhound spend the night with her quarters attacked a fellow colleague in the corridor. Her body contorted and split in half and engulfed the horrified professor. While the team grew paranoid and distrustful of each other, 8-LOM-D analysed some of the blood that had been splattered onto his casing and realized a terrible conclusion. If that parasitic Mimic were to reach a more populous region in the galaxy, the result would be catastrophic. 8-LOM-D secretly disabled their transport ship, effectively marooning the team on Hoth.

When 8-LOM-D returned to the base, he found that the crew’s compliment had severely dwindled and a lot of their equipment had been damaged - the generator included. His plan was nearly thwarted when one of the scientists launched a rescue beacon once they realized their ship was rendered useless. The droid was in the process of recalling the beacon and instead launching a quarantine warning when he was interrupted by a Dr. Lamric, who threatened to destroy him. Normally, 8-LOM-D’s protocols would not allow him to harm organics, but he was able to override them given the circumstances and killed Dr. Lamric with a blast from a pulse rifle.

After reprogramming the beacon, 8-LOM-D set out to find the Mimic, armed with the rifle and a complement of grenades. After a brief exchange, 8-LOM-D destroyed the being with severe damage to himself. The droid climbed to the observatory tower to wait out his final moments as his power depleted and his circuits froze, all while gazing upon the field of ice where snowspeeders held off the menacing walkers to allow the occupants of Echo Base to evacuate.

That's a pretty cool take on the PZ droid, ghostskull. I love the contrast in the dark and gold parts on Shadow. Nice job!

I like the H2 Pilot Droid, mousedroidhoojib. I also have never read the comic, but I love the looks of it... a scavenged, Frankenstein's Monster cross between an Artoo unit and a Probe Droid.

I also like your three, Utinnii. I never thought about making K-2NO, but it might be one I take on at one point... maybe when/if we get SA version. That's a pretty cool take on AV-6R7 as well.

Chuckles, that's Iggy is pretty freaky. I'd hate to run across that droid.

Mostly it's the VOTC IG-88; the arms are from the Treadwell droid. I cut the treadwell attachment joint off the arms and had to drill the IG-88 shoulder joint a little wider, but there is a rotation articulation where the arm fits into the shoulder. The feet are from the BAD BG-J38 droid. I don't remember where the mid-body wrap piece came from, but it fit really well. And there are a couple greeble pieces from IG-88, and a couple random ones (I think that piece on his right leg is from a Jawa?).

Nice job on CZ-3. I think yours looks better than mine

I blame the sculpt over anything you did. I pulled out my spare CZ-4 and was going to use it, but it's a hideous sculpt! Now I'm going to have to buy another Disney version to make a better version of CZ-4... and now that I think about it, I rescind my comments about Hasbro releasing CZ-3 and CZ-1 using that CZ-4 mold. No way! Maybe I can use that ugly CZ-4 to make a different character...

Part of it is the sculpt but also the fact that your CZ was solid white. Painting over the factory paint job and keeping it smooth was quite a challenge. Top that with doing a wash and making it look good was another obstacle. I may have to get a white CZ and redo mine.

FE-3PO.JPG
FE-3PO
FE-3PO was an ethics and etiquette instructor for the Legislative Youth Program on Naboo as well as served in the Naboo Royal Advisory Council. She taught the likes of Padme Amidala as well as advised several monarchs in who sat in the Royal House of Naboo (Amidala, Jamillia, Neeyutnee, and Apailana) and was removed shortly after the installation of Queen Kylantha, who was considered a puppet for the Imperial regime. Fee's current whereabouts are unknown, but she may have been sent to the spice mines of Kessel.

Wow, another fantastic droid. Not as tragic of a backstory for her but kind of sad nonetheless. I also like that you made it a "her".

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you were inspired by Iron Man (or Ironheart perhaps)? I say that because of both the color scheme and the FE
