Just finished painting another entry - with less than 2 hours until the deadline! This is Whaz Fromm, brother of crime lord Sise Fromm - native of the Annoo System. Unlike his brother, Whaz Fromm turned away from a life of crime and instead adopted the ways of the Force. While he wasn't Force sensitive, he wore the garb of the fallen Jedi Order, and helped recover Jedi artifacts for the Church of the Force on many desert planets throughout the Outer Rim, including his own dusty system of Annoo.

Here's my entry for this Yakfinities, a Star Wars custom JEDHA NOMAD figure. This custom 3.75" action figure features soft goods clothing and is multi-articulated for action poses. Living in the desert wasteland of the planet Jedha this being endures to stay far away from the Empire that has taken control of his homeworld.

PARTS LIST
BODY: TBS Tusken Raider
PLASTIC CAPE: G. I. JOE Figure?
RIFLE: Bom Vimdin
BANDOLIER: 6" Jawa
MASK: Moloch

Okay, still not midnight here on the coast, so there's just enough time to get this quick pic in!

This is a "desert dweller" of a different type - a WW2-era British Army officer stationed in North Africa. Once upon a time, this would have been a character in my Indiana Jones photo novel, before I radically changed the storyline to conform to Hemble's contest rules (kind of a moot point, anyway, since I never finished either version of the PN!)

But, I never had the means to make this figure properly until now, since half the figure comes from the Jurassic Park line in the form of Muldoon's legs and pelvis. I wasn't sure if they would marry well with the Star Wars/Indy style of figure, but they worked pretty well together after all.

The figure desperately needs a second coat of paint, but I didn't have time to get it done before the deadline. Sorry for the crummy quality, but I definitely intend to improve this and can post better pictures later.

Thanks!

A little bit late, but I thought I'd post it anyways since I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. A Mars-like desert diorama. I made a bunch of extra rocks, and added runes to some of them so that I can use them with my fantasy figures as well. Made from XPS foam, Mod-Podge and acrylic craft paint. Figures to show scale.

I love this. Great use of a cool Star Trek Ds9 figure head. Wonderful painting and a heartwarming backstory

Thanks, glad you like the figure and backstory. I've always wanted a realistic alien of the same species seen in the Fromm Gang - I love the 80s color palette. I can probably convert the figure into a realistic Sise Fromm if I ever find a softgoods purple cloak as well. Its always fun to do universe crossovers from other action figure lines, like you did with that cool alien custom based on the Space Precinct figure. It looks very retro, and would fit in with the Droids animated series as well! ;)

Morn loves your custom, too, and hasn't been able to shut up about it all day!

British 8th army officer is just superb. Yularen was undoubtedly played by an English man and he is perfect.

I loved the Indy photo novel. Fun to see another addition to the crew.
