This may be the only custom I'm going to have time to complete for this YakFinites, so here she is. Vinto now has an Imperial Assault rebel companion in arms. :upside down:

Haha. I'm running a Star Wars RPG right now and I spent hours upon hours scouring the internet to find cool images to use for NPCs and I know exactly the images these figures are based on!

And they look great!!

TFA Rey from deleted scene where she is wearing Finn's, err Poe's, jacket as she and Finn speed across the icy terrain in a FO Snowspeeder. In the final released cut of the film, you can see her wearing jacket as they climb up the tower and jump inside the base. But by the next frame, she is jacketless and Finn has it back on. I made the figure a while back but came up w/ cardback few nights ago. Made up a bunch from the ST and anthology films. Still need to touch up some areas on cardback but this was a rough test run

Did not have much time this week to work on new additions

But anyway, here's x-Wing pilot Zal Dinnes from Rouge One.. simply a head swap Shae Vizla onto POTJ Luke Pilot- no offense to anyone, but compared to later X-wing pilot bodies, this one does kinda seem a bit feminine and the one extra actual female x-wing pilot body I did have I used for a pilot Leia from Splinter of the Mind's Eye a few years back. I couldn't bring myself to paint hair blonde though, Shea's face and hair resembles my wife way too much as-is tvc zal dinnes.png

and in anticipation of high speculation that Chirut Imwe TVC may be revealed Monday here's TVC mock-up of Cassian Andor (Imperial Officer Disguise). Simple head swap: Luke EU 2pk body, Biggs Darklighter (TIE pilot) head.

New Rebuplic General Lando Calrissian….his early pre Rebel Alliance days. Moments prior to losing the Millennium Falcon to Han Solo in a "friendly" game of Sabbac. Calrissian will later again pilot the Falcon not once but twice (not counting any pre-Disney post ROTJ EU) to aid in the elimination of the threat imposed by Palpatine.

Simply named Lando Calrissian (Final Sabbac). I recently posted this figure in my creations thread and brought him here along w/ a mock-up TVC style cardback

[edit-- entered duplicate pic/figures] also from my creations thread..also from "Solo: A Star Wars Story", Han Solo (Kessel Guard Disquise). Han too later became a Rebel General...heck, we all know the stories...I have mock up cards for all entries so far (except Luke /flashback,but he's in a TBS box for now anyways) however, still having some http error issues trying to upload those pics. Same w/ better pics of Han here.

I was able to get a photo to upload by taking another one and making the image size larger (double actually)...

My submission for this challenge is the Rebel leader that is the foundation for the Rebellion and Resistance - General (Master) Leia Organa. At the ready with her connection to the Force, but also willing to sport a blaster with the rest of the militia. While my custom isn't exactly screen accurate, I did what I could with the TLJ base figure. This is something that should have existed in a TROS basic 3.75 line, or TVC. I love that they used colors similar to Anakin's CW attire, so I had to create my own. Godspeed Rebels!

Here is a composite shot for the group montage that Chewie puts together. I will add more photos of each figure and maybe another one or two as well.

really liking that Leia DS, it's given me some inspiration. I think i have suitable parts to create a simular TROS Leia I may even go semi-soft-goods similar to the WM TBS Leia. I already designed a mock up card but if i cant complete the figure here in time for this challenge, it'll still be eligible for next challenge, LoL. That flashback Luke i submitted, I found a suitable soft goods robe I may swap out, I have a better figure idea for that EP1 Stass Ali (sp?) robe that I'll definitely submit in next challenge allow w/ a few cohorts. Wow, as i typed this, i remembered a handfull of parts perfect to use for one of the cohorts...can't wait to start on that crew

side note- i tried shrinking pic, new pics, enlarging pics, using laptop, PC, my phone and taking a "live" pic rather than drop/drag one from a saved file and still i cannot get certain pics to upload. Glad that trick worked for you DS

Here are few more of my custom figures.

I have a Ithorian Rebel Militia Brigade; Two Rebel Alliance Advisors; A Coruscant rebel spy; and a merchant that supplies the Ithorians.

Colonel "Brack" Braxton--Alliance advisor. An Alderaanian who is the exception to the rule that the late planet's inhabitants were peaceful. Colonel Brack is a professional solider who learned his craft as Imperial regular army, sometimes referred to as mudtroopers. Brack's motto is: "We will drill. We then drill again and follow that up with a change of pace of more drilling". Brack was sent to recruit and train the Ithorian brigade. He specializes in setting up resistance outfits to conduct guerrilla campaigns against Imperial occupation. Although not one to seem sentimental, he wins the heart and minds of sentient beings for demonstrating loyalty and bravery by fighting along side his recruits until they can operate autonomously.
Colonel Brack is made from:
Body: Lt. Sefla body
Helmet: Marvel comic rebel soldier
Head: Walking dead custom head from ebay

The Merchant, Ephraim Wanri--Auxiliary Quartermaster for the Ithorian Brigade. A merchant from the Kron Delt, Ephraim Wanri has made a modest living moving goods across the galaxy who is known for supplying milk for the Intergalactic Orphan Fund. The do gooding without ever speaking out against the abuses of the Corporate Sector Authority or the Empire itself allows Ephraim a level of anonymity in his transactions. What is not known outside a trusted circle of allies is his role in the Rebel Alliance. Ephraim stumbled upon a cache of light blaster rifles and munitions that he donated to the cause.
Recipie:
Head: Boss fight rodent
Body: Grinch figure
Robe: Bib Fortuna
Arms: Darth Sidious from episode I
Hands: Grinch

Sergeant Keller--Colonel Brack is aided by his trusty NCO, Sergeant Keller. Keller is a small arms specialist and sniper by trade. A dead eye that has near stealth capability lying in wait for Imperial dignitaries or ranking officers marching through an oppressed village, Keller instills fear in the enemy like few Rebel troops.
Recipe:
Head: Endor Rebel Soldier
Vest: ATV hunter jacket
Body; Video game rebel soldier
Blaster: Marauder Gun Runner rifle

Here is a closeup of my Ithorian Militia Brigade. In total I have about 10 of these figures. Clearly a simple repaint of the POTF2 Moman Nadon Hammerhead.

Just a simple cream colored outfit. The highlight for me is the customized helmet for non-human rebel personnel. I call it the ARAH or Alternate Rebel Alliance Helmet. It is intended for use by non-human troops whose anatomy just doesn't conform to the Rebel Alliance uniforms worn by species more along the lines of human troops.

I really wanted to show the helmet to fellow customizers. Yes you can sculpt great pieces. Yes you can 3d print great accessories. We can also find everyday ordinary items to add to our dioramas that can really shine. This helmet which in its initial life was a cubicle binder for fabric wall coverings is just that. I bought a box of 25 that came in this off-white color fits both this version of hammerhead and Ishi tib figures. I have a slightly different style that is comparable. I will post that helmet as well.

To fasten the strap of the helmet I use any place of thin, flattish plastic. Two of the helmets are using the strap off a kiss figure guitar. When popping the helmet off the base of the cubicle fastener you will see two holes that are perfect for a chinstrap.

I am working on version that have either a clear dark, smoky or black shield to mimic the standard rebel fleet trooper helmet. Also from Ebay I purchased rebel and Imperial insignia stickers that can be applied. With 25 helmets I can affix various rebel logos (like the flight helmets) for more personality.

Thanks, I only used TLJ Leia, as I didn't have any fodder that would work for her cloak, nor did I have any spare hair options, outside of Padme heads. The only part I had to create was the belt buckle, and then painting began. I look forward to seeing your version - adding softgoods could certainly capture the outfit in a different way. I also saw your Merrick over at Rebelscum - good way to repurpose an old sculpt, and his flight suit did have some bulk, so it turned out nicely.

As for uploading images, I've noticed that if they're highly edited sometimes, they'll cause an error. My previous image was only 600kb, after cropping, so I instead uploaded a photo that is 1.5mb, and it worked.

So today taking a live pic, not drop/drag from a saved pic on p.c, worked, this didn't work before, lol. But pics are sideways, but anyway...general Merrick and his Xwing. Used an old potf2 luke xwing figure. Repainted of course. Could've used the TLC snowspeeder luke but the potf2 one looked more xwing pilot like than the TLC fig.

And here's the mock up cards for the previous 8 customs I submitted. They're small but this was only way to share them here.
L to R name pills read: Finn, Lando Calrissian (Resistance Pilot Gear), Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, Han Solo (Kessel Guard Disguise), Poe Dameron (Adventure Gear)--[borrowed name from the CW Padme figure, LoL], Rose, G2-1B7, and Benthic "Two-Tubes"
