I got my range trooper yesterday from last yakfinities challenge and today i started working on my next entry for open season using RT parts. While going through my parts bin, i came across these random parts that i photographed and photoshopped together to see how it'd look w/o damaging the parts as i may need the parts in near future for other ideas. Anyway, here is how Rey could've appeared at the end of TROS and it may have given a valid reason why she took the Skywalker name.

In addition to faithfully recreating vintage toys suitable for modern 3D printing, the digital artist DESERT-OCTOPUS has imagined what a Princess Leia Organa as Jabba's Prisoner action figure might have looked like had it been released in 1985.

Utinnii, I liked so much the jedi starfighter head on your droid. :D once I found a droid with no head, so I looked for a replacement in the old custom bucket. I go with a gundam feet, turned the front end to the back, just like you did with the ship. it kind of break the mental image on your head so you cant recognize the thing in the first look 8) 8) 8)

here is another figure for this yakfinities.
miner droid, specialized to gather mineral samples and transport them out of tunnels.

Most of my favourite customs are repurposed objects.

That miner droid is sick! Love the Easter egg.

I have always wanted to enter this but always missed the deadline or the subject. I am not sure if this counts? It is an orray that I sculpted. I have made 2 so far one with the rider one to hall the cart. Thanks for looking.

Technically it's an older custom, and makes it ineligible. But thank you for the honesty. This looks like great Customizer Spotlight material though, stay tuned...

I made these way back toward the start of this Yakfinities, but then put off taking pictures and ended up almost forgetting to enter them. This contest ended up being a good chance to finally use some parts that have been sitting in my fodder box for a while.

First off, a hutt and his translator:

Some kind of beast handler. Maybe he works for the hutt too?

And finally, a pair of non-human Mandalorians:

last day entries: Utilizing arms/torso, collar and upper legs from the TVC Range trooper won from the last Challenge, I cobbled together a generic Imperial Commander (Mimban Outpost) from Solo. To complete this guy, I added a modified TLJ DJ head (only spare I had w/ close enough looking Imperial cap), DJ's cloak, legs from a Dollar store GI Joe and an extra AT-ST Driver's helmet for added accessory. Look's like he picked up the helmet at Dok-Ondar's collectible shop. Dok-Ondar originally was a Kenner Hammer-Head w/ Squid-Head's arms and POTF2 Ewok Leia's lower skirt. I madean Ithorian custom sometime back and he also wore a POTF2 Uncle Owen robe. He's been lying in my parts bin for a few years and I forget what character that was to be. I decided to repurpose him for Dok, so I replaced the Owen robe w/ an Ishi Tibb robe, added the sash wish i think may been a piece off of Lott Dodd's robes, not sure. I know it's not completely accurate, but what the heck, I threw this one together just this morning. The "carded" version includes some antiques like a damaged Jango Fett helmet, Dexter's butcher knife and a Dagobah swamp lamp. Again, I used The Last Jedi logo on a G.E character card to boost character offerings from TLJ. If USPS deliver's today, I should have 1 more repaint to submit later tonight.

RookieOne, what figure did you use as a base for the member of Therm Scissorpunch's species? Therm has been on my want-to-do list for quite a while and i'm at a loss for a base figure.

I'm interpreting open season to include a sword and sorcery theme. So here are a couple of fantasy style figures. Ad well as a Ree Yees with alternate hands.

This is a terrific batch of spectacular customs! Awesome Mandos, great re-use of different helmets from the line, eye-popping Scissorpunch but my fav is the Hutt with the jeweled eyepiece and his translator!

Marvelous job!!! WOW

Final entry....GE Lt Bek. USPS delivered a potf2 admiral Ackbar today so I repainted him and created a TVC TLJ card for him as well. I wanted to do flashback TROS trainng Luke and Leia, but didn't have time or the best parts handy. But I'll show of what I did gather. Luke is AOTC/Saga head on a AOTC Kit Fisto body, skirt is handmade. The only helmet I had was an Endor helmet borrowed from another custom I made several years ago, the older mechanic from Dark Horse series Legacy, i forget his name off hand. Leia is TVC Hoth Leia head on TAC EU 2pk Mara Jade body. The cloak is Rose's from the Crait 4 pk and she's also borrowing the same Endor helmet. Both obviously need painting, but I'm not sure if the parts are what I want to use in the end so I'm gonna hold off for a while. The droid is the red dome from the recent Target droid depot set on a TLJ R2-D2 body. Kinda looks like the one Mos Eisley droid R3-T0(?) or whatever the name is.

Here is my entry. This is a custom Female Twilek figure. Her head tails, headgear, belt, and blaster are all custom 3d printed by me. I see her as a Rebel Agent serving undercover on missions to gather information for the Rebel Alliance.
