Here are my Bith and Bot. Here we have an early Empire pair who are thrown together by circumstances not of their own making or design. Tamuki is a Bith a female born into merchant family that has financially profited as the old Republic was replaced by the Galactic Empire. Yes Tamuki reads of certain liberties being limited and the newly minted Imperial Security Bureau does keep tabs on questionable people and even the wealthy regardless of species or pronounced loyalties. Tamuki was traveling on the Star Tours luxury liner, Ad Astra, when it was boarded by a dastardly pirate by the name of Crimson Jack. She eluded the pirates by escaping on a short range run about with a collection of jewels she was transporting on behalf on her mother's business. The only problem: Crimson Jack knows about the Jewels and he wants them.
Tamuki lands at the remnants of an air field maintained by the mining guild on the third moon of Anjur in the Corporate Sector. Hiding the jewels and fearing that her family connection may put her at risk, she turns to the only ally she can trust, a gleefully too friendly droid whose number is WZ38. She nicknames him Scraps.
Scraps, who worked in the mines in the low oxygen areas deep below the moon's surface, has tried to find work to trade for the necessary battery power and much needed oil baths has come on hard times. Resigning himself to eeking out an existence shoveling fertilizer and tilling soil for the local farmers, Scraps sees his fortune change with the insertion of a new variable in the form of Tamuki. Upon seeing the new arrival who clearly knows very little about flying or certainly land small space craft, Scraps hopes he can be of assistance to her find himself a new role of employment.
