Yak's Top Ten Discussion Thread

On Monday, we’re going to introduce a new fun fan feature, Yak’s Top Ten! This is an unofficial, informal list to see what figures everyone would like to see in a future Hasbro line-ups and since Hasbro likes to check in on fan sites like Yakface, perhaps our voices will be heard!

Rules:

• Pick up to 10 figures you’d like to see done in its respective scale.
  • If submissions have more than ten entries, only the first ten will be considered!
    Do not list multipacks as a single entry
    Only one vote per character
  All figures are eligible, whether it’s a new figure, a repaint, re-issue, deluxe, etc.
  Feel free to add descriptions to any of your choices, such as pack-ins.

A tie-breaker will be done to determine #10 if more than one character gets the same votes!

For each source, both scales will run concurrently. You may submit your votes in their respective threads or on the main page. Each thread will run from Monday to Sunday with the Top Ten winners posted on following Monday.

I had originally intended the first Top Ten to be The Phantom Menace, but with Steve Evans’ recent Instagram post and the news that The Clone Wars cartoon is returning, I thought this would be a great place to start since Hasbro’s attention is on that source.

After some deliberating and conferring with Jodo and Chewie, I've decided that we'll do one round devoted towards TVC and a second round devoted to 6" TBS.

Any way we can slip in a Top Ten for Jabba's Sailbarge/Palace? I know that technically it would fall under Return of the Jedi but with the barge coming in February, Hasbro should know who we really want.

Trying to think of the timing on this. Perhaps I should make this one a month long since I'm going to be out of the country for a few weeks next month and likely little time (and funky time difference) to focus on it.

Yak's Top Ten will take a short hiatus for the next few weeks as I will be on vacation, but look for the Attack of the Clones list upon my return! In my absence, why don't we try to get Hasbro to Load the Barge!

I've decided to clean up the OP, especially the rules part, since I've changed it to make these a True Top 10. I believe we have some runoffs to do in previously run polls.

I think I’ll let both of the ANH polls run a few days/another week. Finally got my new computer, but it’s taking a while to install everything and finding out what all I lost when the old one died. I also need to pack for a short trip up to the Twin Cities, and then i have another trip to KC a few days later.

I’ll try to get the results out next Monday and start the Empire poll after that.

After vehicle/playsets what about multipacks? Something along the lines of the Vintage 3 packs that were exclusive to Target and the 2 packs exclusive to K Mart.

If you were thinking about sticking with the Vintage style packaging, choose 3 figures to make a 3 pack (Hero, Villain, Droid, etc) like the ones from the original Vintage Collection and Target exclusive.

For two packs (K Mart style) choose 2 characters of a similar theme.
Example-Tantive IV Capture #1 (Captain Antilles [new] and Rebel Fleet Trooper
Tantive IV Capture #2 (Rebel Fleet Trooper and Stormtrooper)
